Amber Krueger
Welcome!
I'm an academic and executive function (EF) coach based in Madison, WI, working with children, teens, and young adults—alongside their families—to create personalized, holistic learning experiences. My mission is to support diverse learners, build confidence, and help each student reach their full potential.
My Story
I started my career teaching middle school math in public schools in Honolulu, HI.
After relocating to Madison, I joined Walbridge School, a small private institution serving neurodivergent learners. Later, I worked at Meriter Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital, where I supported students in crisis and helped them re-engage with their education in meaningful ways.
When Walbridge closed, I continued working with families to provide tailored academic support. As the pandemic unfolded, my side gig grew into a full-time educational consulting and teaching practice.
Today, I offer services out of Monona, WI, and provide travel sessions when available.
How I Work
My coaching style is student-centered, collaborative, and practical. I meet learners where they are—using real-life examples, hands-on activities, and personalized strategies to make learning stick. I also work closely with families and, when needed, school teams to create wraparound support.
Whether you're navigating IEPs, exploring alternative learning paths, or building executive function skills, I offer compassionate, concrete help.
